“It is a truth universally acknowledged…”
Six novels. Dozens of characters. Three actors. One delightfully chaotic evening.
All of Jane Austen’s beloved heroines, ridiculous relatives, dashing gentlemen, disastrous proposals, and romantic entanglements collide in The Complete Works of Jane Austen (abridged)—a fast-paced comedy that races through the entire Austen canon.
From the drawing rooms of Pride and Prejudice to the matchmaking of Emma, the heartbreak of Sense and Sensibility, and beyond, Austen’s unforgettable characters are lovingly—and irreverently—turned upside down in a whirlwind of costume changes, literary jokes, romance, and Regency mayhem.
Whether you can recite every word of Persuasion or have never opened an Austen novel, this affectionate celebration proves that more than two centuries later, Jane still knows exactly how ridiculous we can be when we fall in love.
Six novels. Three actors. Absolutely no sense or sensibility required.
